Namilco Awarded Authentic Caribbean Seal.
August, 2001

The Caribbean Export Development Agency had granted NAMILCO approval for the use of the Authentic Caribbean Seal on the following products:

 

Maid Marian: Thunderbolt Flour

Self Rising Flour Roti Mix Wheat-Up Breakfast Porridge Harvest High Fibre Flour

The approval was granted on the basis of the recommendations from the assessment of products, the production process and capability as undertaken in our behalf by Caribbean Export Development Agency utilizing the agreed Guidelines.

Specifically, under the regulations on procedures for issuing the Authentic Caribbean Seal, these products will be required to:

a) Meet the rules of Origin criteria
b) have a regular supply capability and
c) be of an agreed minimum acceptable quality.

The Seal shall be included on labels and Namilco's letterheads and printed on products mentioned in the Authentic Caribbean Agreement and shall be included in the List of Authentic Caribbean Products.
